Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of Chinook Web Designs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
Services
Chinook Web Designs provides web design, development, and related services. We offer both subscription-based and one-time payment options. Specific terms for each service will be outlined in individual service agreements.
Payment Terms
Payment terms vary by service type:
- Subscription Model: Monthly payments are due in advance. You may cancel after the first year with 30 days notice.
- One-Time Payment: Payment is typically split into milestones (50% to start, 25% at design approval, 25% at launch).
- All prices are in CAD and exclude applicable taxes (GST).
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Respond to requests for feedback and approvals in a timely manner
- Make payments according to agreed terms
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Use services in compliance with applicable laws
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, clients own the final website design and code (for one-time payments). For subscription services, ownership transfers upon completion of the minimum subscription period. Chinook Web Designs retains the right to use completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
Limitation of Liability
Chinook Web Designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription services may be cancelled after the first year with 30 days written notice. Refunds for one-time projects are handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on project completion status. No refunds are provided for completed work.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
